    Road Crack Fill

    United Paving will be in the community today performing an initial crack fill of our roads. This work is in preparation of the seal coating that will begin in Monday August 18th.

    Be sure to review the map of which streets will be blocked off next week!

  • Ice Cream Event

    Ice Cream Event

    Next Tuesday, August 12th (08/12/2025), the Veronica Encinas team will be holding a free ice cream event for all the Village Cottage residents from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the community pool area. All residents are invited and welcome to come.

    In addition, the 2025 annual meeting will be held inside the pool area at 5:00 PM. If you wish to submit your ballot in person, please stop by and management will collect it. 

  • Seal Coating

    Road closures will be in effect to allow for seal coating on the following dates from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm

    • Phase 2 (Red): Tuesday Aug. 19th
    • Phase 3 (Blue) : Wednesday Aug. 20th

    Please be certain you are parked in the correct area on the correct date. There will be no parking posted in the effected areas of repairs.

    Street sweeping for the community is provided by Quality street Service. Our scheduled street sweeping days are the 4th Monday between 8:00 AM and 12:00 Noon.

    During this time no parking is allowed on our streets.

  • New Security Company

    New Security Company

    Courtesy Patrol Specialists has been selected as our patrol and parking security company.

    The patrol company is responsible for enforcing our parking rules and regulations as well as providing the following services.

    • Check and clear pool area and restrooms
    • Respond to any disturbance calls
    • Report any and all maintenance issues such as lights out, vandalism, graffiti, property hazards, etc
    • Report any trespassers/loiterers
    • Report suspicious, vagrant or criminal activities

    As of July 21st 2025 Village Cottages has a new property manager, Chase Knowles. The board of directors would like to welcome Chase to the community and we look forward to working with him!

    Our pool area upgrades are complete! Loungers and patio umbrellas have been replaced. Bathrooms have been renovated with new counters, sinks, and paint. Our pool shower tile and drain have been replaced. Worn concrete around the showers has also been repaired.

  • Parking Restrictions

    Parking Restrictions

    In order provide guest parking and to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the neighborhood and preserve property values Village Cottages enforces the following parking restrictions. These are enforced by the communities patrol service. Residents are encouraged to park in driveways and garages, with street or “guest” parking allowed with the following regulations.

    • No parking along red curbs
    • No parking within fifteen feet of a fire hydrant
    • No parking along white “pool drop-off only” curb
    • No parking in any manner where the vehicle extends onto the sidewalk or sloped curb
    • No parking against the direction of traffic
    • No parking in shared driveways
    • No parking of cars with expired registrations
    • No parking of recreational vehicles
    • No parking of commercial vehicles
    • No parking of inoperable vehicles
    • No parking on shared driveways
    • No parking that blocks access via crash gates
    • No parking during street sweeping hours (4th Monday of the month between 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon)
    • Maximum parking is 72 hours, vehicles must be moved after this time

    Vehicles not following the above parking regulations are subject to violations and tow.

    The Village Cottages has selected Softscapes Inc. as our new commercial landscape service. Softscapes Inc. will be responsible for the professional upkeep of all common area landscaping, such as the front entrance, pool area, slopes, and shared grass and planters.
